Are you a local shaker, maker, candlestick maker? Someone talented, creative and deliciously innovative? We want to hear from you! We’re all about local stories told Swell (see what we did there?) and are always on the lookout for projects to fill our pages.
Writers
The stories you see in Swell Mag are penned by our team of talented writers, but our ear is always to the ground when it comes to great local stories. Have an idea you’d like to pitch? Fancy yourself a bit of a wordsmith? Drop us a line with the details, and samples of your work (as an attachment). P.s… Make sure you’ve read the mag before you submit, and yes we will be able to tell.
Photographers
The Swell team are very lucky to have our very own photographer capturing the goods for each issue but we do accept a limited number of submissions. If you’ve recently done a shoot that you think might suit Swell Magazine, then we’d love to hear from you. Send through some sample shots, and details of the shoot – including the brands/clothing used, the model’s age and the location of the shoot. We absolutely need these details for the shoot to be considered.
Illustrators and artists
We are always open to the work of new talents. A simple email with some examples of your work and/or a link to your website or blog would be great!
