Returns, Refunds & Subscription Policy

At Swell Magazine, we’re committed to ensuring you enjoy a seamless experience. Here’s how we handle damaged items and subscription cancellations:

Returns

We do not accept returns for change of mind purchases.

Damaged Items

If your magazine arrives damaged, we’ll gladly reship it at no extra cost. To request a replacement, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hey@swellmag.com.au, providing:

  • Your order details.
  • Clear photos of the damaged item and packaging.

Subscriptions 

At Swell Magazine, we strive to provide a smooth subscription experience. Please review the following details about our subscription payment schedule and policies:

Payment Schedule
  • Recurring Payments: Subscription renewals and recurring payments are processed 30 days prior to the release of each new magazine issue.

  • This ensures sufficient time to address any payment failures before the magazine is shipped.
Failed Payments

If a payment fails, you will be notified and provided an opportunity to update your payment details. If payment is not resolved within the 30-day window, your subscription will be paused, and the upcoming issue will not be shipped.

Cancellations
  • Subscriptions must be cancelled prior to the 30-day renewal period to avoid being charged for the next issue.
  • No Refunds: Payments for renewals will not be refunded, including cases where the magazine issue has already been scheduled or shipped.
  • Future Issues: You will not be charged for future shipments after cancellation.
  • Recurring subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your account dashboard or by contacting us. Please note: Already Shipped Issues: Cancellations will not be refunded for issues already shipped.
Change of Address or Incorrect/Return to Sender Deliveries 
  • If your address changes, update it in your account or notify us before the 15th of the month prior to release. Eg. 15th March, 15th July, 15th November.

  • Failure to provide the correct address or update your address in time may result in additional shipping fees for re-delivery, including cases where items are returned to sender due to an incorrect address.
