As you arrive, explore the main street’s hidden gems like The Flower Shop, or browse contemporary artworks at Gallery Minima. Catch a film or live music at the historic James Theatre, Australia’s oldest purpose-built cinema, then fuel up with traditional pizza at Dungog Pizza, or weekend goodies from the Local Growers Stall. For a relaxed afternoon, enjoy craft beers at Tinshed Brewery or local wines at Settlers Arms, soaking up the welcoming community spirit that makes Dungog feel like a slow, restorative escape just a short drive from Newcastle.
